Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Performs diversified duties including office administrative and medical record support. Interact with high-level executives inside and outside of the company. Perform confidential duties on a routine basis. Performs administrative functions for the department heads and does related work as required.

General Duties

* Open and close office / Office hours are as follows: M-T 9:00 AM-5:30 PM; F-9:00 AM -4:00 PM
* Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone;answering or referring inquiries
* Perform clerical and assistant duties such as note taking, typing, filing,and assisting directors in daily office duties.
* Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures,rules, and regulations.
* Maintain inventory for all office supplies
* Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories;evaluating new equipment and techniques.
* Assist with maintaining gas/mileage logs for company vehicles.
* Assist President, Vice President, Human Resource Director, and OfficeManager.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned


Specific Duties and Responsibilities Shall Include:

* Perform background and health care registry checks on perspective andactive employees. * Performs complex secretarial work of an administrative nature that mayinvolve minimal or no supervision. Provides assistance to the departmentheads.
* Processes and maintains employee files, writes for company newsletter, andprocesses.
* Reviews, prioritizes and redirects regular and electronic mail. Maintainsfollow-up system on action mail.
* Composes correspondence of moderate complexity without review such ascongratulatory letters, receipt of letter responses, and or instructions onpolicies and procedures etc.
* Adhere to all consumer confidentiality requirements and standards; adhereto Medicaid guideline and regulations
* Ensures all authorizations and reauthorizations are completed within theproper time frame.

Must be able to work independently. A great outgoing personality is a must. Must possess a High School Diploma, GED. Additional education a plus. Will be required to attend all meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops as directed by Ramseur Homes, if needed. Multi-tasked, good written and verbal communication skills, problem solver, critical thinking, organized.

Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test at all times in order to remain employed with Ramseur Homes as well as pass criminal background checks.
